DESCRIPTION
On our travels, we loved the patterned repetition of tiled village roofs and neatly marked crop fields and translated them into a uniquely beautiful handwoven checkered weave. Naturally dyed using a combination of Baheda fruit and walnut shells.
Utilized on our Kabir shirt, a classic button-up made for everyday wear with special details that enhance its overall style. Standard fit, spread collar, horn buttons and use of saddle stitching and selvedge throughout.
Kora is one of our signature handwoven fabrics, a breathable woven cotton that protects against the harsh heat. It has a soft hand, a relaxed look and feel and is ideal for the summer weather.

WASH CARE

Produced in a limited run with exclusive handcrafted fabrics. We recommend cold washing using natural detergents and line drying in the shade. Handcrafted garments are designed to last when treated with care.

SHIPPING
All orders are shipped in the order they are received within 3 days of placing your order. Shipping times are Monday-Friday, 12–5 pm PST.
Shipping rate is calculated by the weight of the product and the delivery address. You will receive a tracking number when your shipping label prints; please allow up to 12 hours for tracking information to be updated.
We primarily use USPS or UPS to ship our orders. FedEx is available under certain circumstances. Please contact us directly for any special requests.
The Umber & Ochre is not responsible for items lost during shipping. For questions and concerns about shipping, please contact the carrier. We do insure the shipment, and if a claim is being processed, it takes 2-4 weeks
For made-to-order items, please allow up to 14-21 days for your orders to ship, regardless of shipping speed.
RETURNS
Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery confirmation for an exchange or refund. Returned merchandise must be in original condition with original tags attached. Worn or altered items will not be accepted for return or exchange.
Shipping fees are non-refundable. We do not reimburse shipping costs. All return packages should be insured, as we do not offer refunds on items damaged in shipping. You must file a claim with the carrier. Refunds are credited to the original form of payment. Your account will be refunded within 3–10 days of receipt of your item.
There is a flat $ 20 restocking fee unless an item is exchanged starting Aug 18, 2026.
