Akash Chore Coat in Pomegranate Mandala Tangaliya

Sale price$450.00

DETAILS
A functional year-round style, the Akash chore coat is a versatile outerwear piece. Ours is crafted from sturdy yet soft handwoven nubby cotton. It has a longer length, a very relaxed fit, and features hand-carved horn buttons.

MATERIALS
Our textile design features textured hues paired with intricate motifs borrowed from architectural details and monastic murals. Indigenous sheep wool is woven using a technique called Tangaliya, a 700-year-old hand weaving tradition native to Gujarat, India. A combination of natural dyes including pomegranate skins and iron fillings were used.
